Queen Street Businesses in Kincardine victim to vandal early Tuesday Morning

Police confirm that one individual is in custody and has been charged with the mischiefs. Police are busy collective evidence and the investigation is underway.

There has been a series of acts of vandalism occur in downtown Kincardine at businesses on Queen Street.

Eleven saw their front windows smashed by unknown suspects.

A business owner spoken to by Shoreline says the incident happened over an hour in downtown around 3:30 am.

South Bruce OPP Inspector Krista Miller confirmed the investigation. Her and Staff Sergent Wilcox were present on-site just before 9am to review the scene.

She confirmed that one individual is in custody and has been charged with the mischiefs. Police are busy collective evidence and the investigation is underway.

Police were alerted to the acts by multiple calls to 911 by area residents.

They urge everyone to report suspicious acts immediately to either 1-888-310-1122 for non-emergency and 911 if the acts are more immediate and life threatening in nature.
