The federal labour board is sending railway employees back to work.
On Saturday the Canada Industrial Relations Board ruled in favour of Minister Steve MacKinnon’s order for binding arbitration with the dispute between CN Rail and Canadian Pacific Kansas City between the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference.
The teamsters say the union will comply but it sets a dangerous precedent saying big companies can now pause operations briefly and the government will break unions.
