The Reach Centre Grey Bruce has partnered with the City of Owen Sound on a Life Skills project called “Yellow Fish Road”.
It sees them out cleaning storm drains and ensuring they are properly painted and labelled drains as rainwater only to help keep area waterways clean.
Reach says they love their community and the planet and enjoying helping in any way they can.
The project will be ongoing.
The Reach Centre provides programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
They focus on developing skills to foster independence in whatever form that looks like for participants.
