Registration is now open for United Way Bruce-Greys Backpack Program.
The program is designed to help low incomes families in the region to support their kids with backpacks filled with essential school supplies for the appropriate grade they’re in.
over the last 20 years the program has given out 35,278 backpacks filled with goods to ensure every child will start the next school year equipped for success.
Those looking to register are asked to call 211 to get setup.
Francesca Dobbyn, Executive Director of United Way Bruce-Grey says providing these supplies they can help remove barriers and give every child the chance to succeed in school.
