A COVID outbreak was declared at the Brucelea Haven Long Term Care Home in Walkerton this week.
Grey Bruce Public Health confirmed a positive case of COVID-19 on Jan. 9 and placed the home in outbreak status. They will advise once the outbreak is declared over.
This was one of three outbreaks in LTC homes public health declared this week.
There is also a parainfluenza outbreak at the Gold Dawn Seniors Home in Lions Head and a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) outbreak at the Southampton Care Centre.
