Plans are falling into place for Ripley’s 2025 Reunion.
Taking place every 10 years the reunion is set for July 31st- August 4th of next year to welcome back those who have moved away or welcome home those who have now settled in the region for all of those who call Ripley home.
Chairperson for the Ripley Reunion Matt Farrell says this year they want to bring in a local cookbook as a token for those to take home with them for the reunion.
“Basically to remember those recipes that were part of your family or your friendships. When you got together they always made that one thing and it always brings back memories. We want to collect those into one great book and make it available for the whole community.” said Farrell.
A kick off dance will be taking place on May 11th with the Settlers Creek Band to kick off the reunion with tickets available for $20 all going back towards the reunion event.
