Huron-Kinloss and Ripley were thrust onto the world stage last month when Ripley resident Annika Rear earned a championship title at the 2022 Nutrena American Quarter Horse Association East Level 1 Championships.
The event held in Wilmington saw Rear show her horse “Maybeline” to a championship title in Amateur Trail.
The prize package for the achievement was a belt buckle, trophy, neck wreath, and champion patch.
