The Ripley Wolves Senior Mens Hockey Team announce via their website that Saturday’s Fundraiser for the Meurs Family will be moving online due to capacity restrictions set to be in place at their arena. Saturday’s game vs Shelburne has a maximum capacity of 550 people as per percent of full capacity.

The Fundraiser will now be a Facebook Silent Auction and e-Transfer opportunity for donations.  It is being held in support of the local family Garrett, Jenna and Mynden Meurs as Jenna recovers from a bad car accident.

The Ripley Wolves Executive said in the statement that the move was made to reduce congestion at the facility and hopefully help keep fans and supporters safe during these uncertain times.

If anyone would like to financially support the Meurs family outside of the fundraiser they can e-Transfer funds to meursfundraiser@gmail.com or by contacting a member of the Team’s Executive Committee.

The silent auction begins Saturday at noon on the Ripley Wolves Facebook page. And it closes Sunday at 6pm.

For more information you can contact VP of the Executive Committee, Dwight Irwin at 519-525-7106.
