June’s Rock with Your Docs concert raised more than $42,000 for the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation’s hospital redevelopment fundraising campaign.
The concert at the Davidson Centre featured performances from Crazymaker, Lulu’s Roadhouse Band and Kincardine’s own health care rock stars, Local Anesthesia.
Dr. Jason Murray, physician and member of Local Anesthesia says the event was the perfect opening to the hospital’s redevelopment capital campaign, bringing the community together for a night of live music and dancing.
The foundation’s announced Rock with Your Docs will be an annual event. Next year’s party will happen on Sat., June 17.
