Saugeen Connects Student Start Up Program Opens

The Saugeen Connects Student Start Up Program is now open to applications.

Students in grade 6 to 12 can apply to earn up to $450 over the summer to help them start up and run a business and give self employment a try.

While not offered in 2020 due the pandemic, the program returned in 2021 and saw 59 youth open 50 businesses.

The program is open to applications from students which includes Hanover, West Grey and Brockton and are due by May 5th.

Businesses started up by students include dog treats, homemade granola and bike customs.
