New Saugeen First Nation Chief Conrad Ritchie issued an update to the community last week on how the transition is going for the incoming council.
Council members are currently receiving briefs for ongoing files, like the Eastern boundary claim with Treaty 72, as well as getting caught up on financial administration laws.
Ritchie says there will be a swearing-in ceremony next month, on Oct. 3, with more details to follow.
