The Saugeen Golf Club held a press event on Monday to announce it is set to host the prestigious Canadian Senior Men’s Amateur Championship next September.
The event is being held in the 100th year anniversary of the golf club.
The world-class five-day championship, being held September 11th to 15th attracts 180 top skilled golfers 55 years of age and older from across Canada and beyond and promises to captivate golf enthusiasts and families alike.
Spectators can expect a dynamic experience with interactive activities, sponsor displays and the chance to join the gallery, which is expected to attract between 500 to 1000 spectators daily.
Volunteers will play a large part of the success of the event.
There is a volunteer Recruitment Night being held this evening, September 12th starting at 7pm at Saugeen Golf Club.
