The Board for the Saugeen Hospice announced today that it has received South Build funds from the Grey Bruce Hospice.
The over $568,000 transfer are funds held separately by Grey Bruce since the time it started fundraising efforts for a satellite hospice in 2017 that was paused in 2019.
Following the Saugeen Hospice’s CRA charitable status confirmation in June, the Grey Bruce Hospice announced it would no longer be pursuing a South Build, making the Saugeen Hospice its successor.
Kelly Fotheringham, Chair of the Saugeen Hospice says they are thrilled that the funds raised over the last several years by their incredibly generous community will now be put to use.
