The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is preparing for the holding of this year’s Gran Fondo Lake Huron presented by Bruce Power & Suppliers. The Fundraising cycling event is being held this Sunday, August 21st, and is the first in-person since 2019.

The bike ride this year will see funds go towards the Bring Tom to Town CT Scanner Campaign. Tracy Murray, Executive Director from the Foundation has been humbled by the support from the community.

“We are absolutely blown away by the support the Community has given. The kids, local businesses, residents; the phone has never stopped ringing with people saying can I help bring TOM to town?  It’s just been absolutely phenomenal to see the fundraising thermometer go up and up so quickly.”

The Gran Fondo Lake Huron sees 3 possible routes for cyclists to take a Society of United Professionals 110k, The RBC 70k and the Shawcor 30k.
