The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks have announced their long awaited return to WOAA Senior Double A hockey.
The return marks a stretch of 591 days since they last hit the ice.
The team opens their season on the road October 8th against the Clinton Radars.
They return the following week to have their home opener on October 15th versus the Seaforth Centenaires.
The team has a mix of new and returning players including a former Wilnterhawk and WOAA Champion.
46 year old Mill Monkman returns after 12 years on the sidelines. The Tara native last played for the team back in 2008/09 when he scored 25 points in 17 games and helped the team to it’s first championship.
Season tickets are available for $100 each which gives you admission to all regular season and playoff home games.
