The Town of Saugeen Shores issued a statement this afternoon following the announcement of the results of Friday’s election results at Saugeen First Nation.
In the statement Mayor of Saugeen Shores Luke Charbonneau on behalf of himself, council, staff and residents of the town congratulated Chief Conrad Ritchie and the new members of the Saugeen First Nation Council on their successful election.
The Mayor added that the town looks forward to working with the representatives of Saugeen First Nation as they continue to build and nurture a strong relationship between the two communities.
