Town of Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau issued a statement on the town’s social media Wednesday morning reiterating that their community is welcoming to all.
He says the town is committed to the act and everyone, including those two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and/or questioning, intersexual and asexual neighbours and youth belong here.
The Town goes on to condemn any attempts to isolate or marginalize anyone, with the Mayor saying as the Town grows in diversity, it grows in strength.
