The Mayor of Saugeen Shores released a statement after Grey Bruce Public Health announced it would work on a plan to ensure all Grey-Bruce residents have equitable, convenience access to Public Health Ontario’s free well water testing service.

Mayor Luke Charbonneau says the Town welcomes this development, considering their residents have been without a local drop-off point since the start of the pandemic.

He adds the service is critical to ensuring the health & safety of those families who rely on private well water.

He then personally thanked Grey Bruce Public Health Medica Officer Dr. Ian Arra, for advocating with the province on behalf of his citizens, and for exploring potential local solutions.
