Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau says he is very glad with how 2021 went in the town.
Charbonneau tells us during an year-end interview that he is also looking forward to see work begin on the new recreation centre in 2022.
He says there has been a lot of growth in the community based on the number of building permits issued and the number of new businesses opening up this year.
Charbonneau says he appreciates the way residents have been able to handle the pandemic.
He says there is reason to be optimistic heading into 2022.
