Saugeen Shores Police arrest suspended driver & recover property at RIDE Program

Vehicle being driven was towing a trailer with no license plate, found to be stolen from U-Haul.

The Saugeen Shores Police arrested a suspended driver and recovered stolen property at a RIDE check on Concession 6 last Monday afternoon, April 10th.

Officers were conducting the check when they spotted a male known to them as being a suspended driver.

They were arrested and then it was observed the vehicle they had been driving was towing a trailer with no license plate.

It was found to belong to U-Haul, had been painted black and had been reported stolen.

A 30-year-old male of Southampton has been charged with several offences and was released with a future court date.
