Saugeen Shores Police have charged a Bruce County driver with impaired operation after their vehicle was caught speeding and driving erratically on Tuesday evening.
Officers were on general patrol on Goderich Street on Tuesday, July 4th around 8:30 pm when they observed the accused driving northbound at 90 km in an 50 zone and straddling the centre line.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver displayed signs of impairment.
A subsequent roadside screening test resulting in a fail.
The 20-year-old driver has been charged with impaired operation 80 plus and danger operation of a motor vehicle. His license has been suspended and his vehicle impounded.
