Saugeen Shores Police holds Mandatory Alchol Screening during stops Sunday Morning

They say they are happy to report that all tests registered 0 mg with the exception of one that was 30 mg.

The Saugeen Shores Police advised this past weekend that with the rise of impaired driving within Saugeen Shores their night shift officers took the time to enforce Mandatory Alcohol Screening  on traffic stops that were conducted Sunday morning between 1 and 4 am.

They say they are happy to report that all tests registered 0 mg with the exception of one that was 30 mg.

Under the Highway traffc act, the legal limit per 100 ml of blood while you operate a vehicle is 49 mg.

It is 79 mg under the Criminal Code.
