Saugeen Shores Police lay 23 charges during recent Operation Crossing Paths Campaign

Charges included failing to stop at a stop sign, careless driving, failing to stop for police, dangerous driving and passing off the roadway.

Saugeen Shores Police Service released results from their recent Operation Crossing Paths Campaign that was held the end of last month.

From July 21st to 26th officers increased enforcement at area intersections.

During the traffic safety campaign officers laid 23 charges which included failing to stop at a stop sign, careless driving, failing to stop for police, dangerous driving and passing off the roadway.

The fines for failing for a stop sign are $110 plus a Victim Fine Surcharge of $25.

If in a Community Safety Zone it jumps to $150 plus a $30 surcharge.
