The Saugeen Shores Police took to social media this week to mark the start of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

The force advise that the women and men are on the phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week answering residents calls for help. The Saugeen Shores Police say they wouldn’t be efficient without them.

The call takers and dispatchers for the Town work out of the Owen Sound Police Station and they wanted to take a moment to thank every single one of them for helping keep Saugeen Shores a safe place to live.
