A Bruce County man faces a slew of charges in connection to a pair of break and enters that took place in Port Elgin on Friday.
Police responded to reports around 7:30 a.m. that morning of theft from a dentists office and restaurant along Goderich St. Several cash registers and dental equipment was taken but the suspect was identified through closed circuit footage.
The man was located later that after noon at the park in Mill St and was placed under arrest. The suspect was also linked to a theft that occurred on a boat docked at the Southampton Marina earlier in the month and had been arrested in connection to the theft of a Port Elgin taxi last week.
The man faces several more charges now and was held for a bail hearing which took place on Oct. 1.
