The Saugeen Shores Police are sharing word of their Community Watch program.
It is a community-based volunteer citizen organization that works with police to reduce crime & acts of vandalism within Saugeen Shores.
Community Watch does random patrols on public property with a specific focus on areas and located that Saugeen Shores Police have identified as being highly incident prone.
While doing it the citizens observe, record and report incidents of suspicious activity to police.
They also assist the Service on a call-out basis for such activities as locating missing children and special events patrols.
