The Town of Saugeen Shores has celebrated the opening of the Saugeen Shores Rotary Club accessible playground.
The ceremony also marked the completion of Phase 2 development for the Lamont Sports Park where the playground sits.
Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau says the opening of the playground marks the successful of the Lamont Sports Park’s phase 2 development and the fulfillment of the vision which began when they won the Kraft Heinz Project Play in 2019.
The playground has been years in the making with input from the Town’s Accessibility Committee and community members to ensure the design would be fully accessible.
