The Town of Saugeen Shores welcomed Madison McNeill today as the new By-Law Enforcement Officer.
In the release the town says that McNeill comes to the area from Owen Sound, where she was a Provincial Offences Officer. Before that she worked as Municipal Law Enforcement for the City of Kitchener and a Community Justice Coordinator for the John Howard Society.
McNeill replaces long-serving Officer Ron Cullierier, who moves into semi-retirement after almost 10 years in the position. Previous to that Cullierier was the Town’s Police Service for 30 years.
Town of Saugeen Shores Mayor Like Charbonneau welcomed Madison and thanked Ron for his many years of service saying saying that McNeil has big shoes to fill, and adding they are confident she will fulfill her duties with both compassion and integrity.
Officer McNeill begins her duties on May 30th.
