The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has updated its masking guidelines for its sites in Chesley, Durham, Kincardine and Walkerton.

Effective today they will begin recommending all patients & visitors wear masks in all clinical areas & care settings when meeting and speaking directly with healthcare workers especially the ER.

Patients with a fever or respiratory symptoms will be required to mask in those areas, except when in an impatient room or bedspace and when not receiving direct care from a healthcare worker.

Staff & Physicians will be required to wear a mask for all direct patient contact for both impatient & outpatient settings.

They will be recommended but not required for staff at their stations, hallways and break spaces.
