Scotiabank in Kincardine is closing its doors.

Officials say after careful consideration they have made the choice to relocate their services over to Port Elgin at 216 Goderich Street, adding they will be better equipped to provide one on one financial services.

A post shared by resident Sarah Foster says the loss is not a small business but losing a service in the community, a supporter for local events and may mean a loss of jobs for locals.

The move is expected on July 4th next year.
