An arrest has been made in an investigation into vehicle break-ins in Wingham.
Huron County OPP were investigating several vehicle breaks-in that occurred Monday and Tuesday.
Several items were taken from the unattended vehicles.
Officers discovered an SUV that was reported stolen from Boland Street by the same suspect, and attempts were made to stop it only to have the vehicle flee from police.
Both the vehicle and suspect were later found on Shuter Street.
Investigators recovered the stolen property as well as found methamphetamine, stolen ID and debit cards, and unmarked cigarettes.
A 30-year-old from Seaforth faces a number of charges including driving while impaired by drug and was held until his next court appearance scheduled for Thursday.
