Season ends at Clinton Raceway with local capturing Charity Drivers Challenge

The season is over at the Clinton Raceway which closed with its 42an annual Charity Drivers Challenge and Ontario Sires Stakes.

Jay Harris captured his first challenge title with over $11,000 raised throughout the day for the local legion.

Harris captured one of the seven challenge races and finished in the top three five additional times to finish with 149 points, one point ahead of Doug McNair and seven points ahead of Canada’s leading driver James MacDonald, whom had 148 and 142 points respectively.

The Clinton Raceway is looking forward to next year’s season as the construction of a new grandstand will start in the near future.
