A busy long weekend for Grey Bruce OPP who took part in a province wide seat belt campaign.
From April 18th-21st police were out in increased presence to look for those not wearing a seat belt and ensure drivers and passengers were staying safe.
Over the long weekend, OPP issued 132 tickets to those violating Ontario’s seat belt laws.
A lack of seat belt use is a leading contributing factor to death, injuries and property damage on local roads.
