For Saugeen First Nation members frustrated by internet outages, the chief and council say they’re working on a solution.
In a release issued late last week, the band office said the cause of the disruption for Driftwood internet customers has been identified, but the solution will require multiple phases due to their aging infrastructure.
A full project planning schedule will be released once it’s finalized. Until then, customers who have been impacted by disruptions may be eligible for pro-rated account credits.
