Siemens CT Scanner arrives at Kincardine Hospital Site

The first patient is set to be scanned on Monday, March 20th.

The South Bruce Grey Health Centre announced the arrival of the new CT Scanner to the Kincardine Hospital.

They said it was delivered Monday from the Siemens production facility in Germany.

Over the coming weeks, the Siemens X.Cite CT Scanner will be installed and commissioned in the 2,000 square food addition to the hospital.

The first patient is set to be scanned on Monday, March 20th.

Michael Barrett, President & CEO of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre says the project represents the first step in the expansion of the Kincardine hospital, which will also see an expended emergency department, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, front entrance and loading area.
