Given the continued snowfall, the Township of Huron-Kinloss has declared a significant weather event across the area.
Declared earlier this morning the weather event is not a notice of a reduced level of service or road closure but instead to notify drivers and pedestrian to use a level of caution while traveling on the roads.
The township adds staff is working diligently to ensure public safety.
