The Provincial Special Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 48-year-old man in Thursday in Goderich.
The OPP was called for a well-being check around 1:15 pm. Police located the man’s vehicle in a motel parking lot on Bayfield Road at 2:30.
They then located the man in a room where EMS late pronounced the man deceased.
Three investigators and 2 forensic investigators have been assigned to the case.
The post-mortem took place Friday. Anyone with any info on the incident is asked to contact the SIU.
