A Port Elgin orchard’s Lions and Tigers and Bears fundraiser generated $1535 in support of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Smiths’ Apples and Farm Market held their theme day last Saturday where kids could adopt a plush animal and a portion of the adoption fee go toward the CT scanner campaign.
The foundation completed the Bring Tom to Town campaign after this weekend’s Gran Fondo.
They’ll now begin putting donations towards other items on the hospitals capital needs list.
