South Bruce OPP charge driver in Single Vehicle Collision Sunday in Brant Township

Officers responded around 6:14pm Sunday evening to find it had left the roadway and come to rest in a field. The 54-year-old of Brockton faces Impaired and Blood Alcohol above 80mg charges.

The South Bruce OPP have charged a 54-year-old driver from Brockton after a single vehicle crash along Bruce County Road 19 in Brant Township.

Officers responded around 6:14pm Sunday evening to find it had left the roadway and come to rest in a field.

The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. They were placed under arrested and the male faces charges of impaired operation and blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg.

Their license has been suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for 7.

They are set to appear in a Walkerton court September 6th to answer to the charges.
