South Bruce OPP Investigation into August Fatal Collision results in Charges

Police have charged a 22 year old of Kincardine with Careless Driving causing Death and Careless Driving causing Bodily Harm.

The South Bruce OPP announced today that charges have been laid against a 22 year old male of Kincardine following a collision in August.

On August 24th at 4:16pm police responded to a report of a serious collision along Highway 21 in Kincardine.

Officers along with Bruce County EMS and Kincardine Fire & Emergency responded to the scene where a pick-up truck and motorcycle had collided.

Two people on the motorcycle were taken to local hospital where the passenger was pronounced deceased. The driver was taken to London by Air Ambulance for serious injuries.

The 22 year old male was charged with careless driving causing death and careless driving causing bodily harm. He is scheduled to appear in court of November 16, 2021 to answer to the charges.
