The South Bruce OPP have released the results of the recent Canada Road Safety Week Campaign that ran June 24t to July 2nd.
Officers paid close attention from the big 4 causal factors to serious collisions on OPP patrolled roadways; impaired, distracted, and aggressive driving along with failing to wear a seatbelt.
There were 139 charges during the initiative including 106 for speeding, 2 for stunt driving and 3 for failing to wear a seatbelt.
Another 78 were stopped and warned for moving violations.
There were 15 collisions investigated as well with minor injuries reported at 1.
