The OPP West Region Social Media shared the news that South Bruce OPP Sergeant Dave Hackney is retiring.
In the post the OPP says that today was his last day after dedicating 21 years to policing, and to the communities he’s served.
They finish by thanking him for what he’s done and by wishing him all the best.
Sergeant Hackney was recognized in June with an award for his Peer Support Work in regards to critical incidents.
