South Bruce Peninsula cancels Canada Day Fireworks in Area due to Fire Ban

Displays set for in both Sauble Beach and Bluewater Park in Wiarton will be re-scheduled later once the ban & Provincial Order designating it as a Restricted Fire Zone have been lifted.

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula has cancelled planned Canada Day Fireworks displays in both Sauble Beach and Bluewater Park in Wiarton as a result of the Municipal Fire Ban in effect in the area.

The events will be re-scheduled later once the ban & Provincial Order designating it as a Restricted Fire Zone have been lifted.

As the holiday approaches the Municipality is urging residents & visitors to adhere to the restrictions that are in place.
