South Bruce Peninsula has entered a binding agreement with Sobeys to acquire a prime property on 370 William Street.

The move comes as the town looks to build a new town hall and enhance municipal facilities and provide residents with improved services.

The chosen property is within walking distance of all downtown amenities and will complement existing services and recreational facilities in the area.

Mayor Jay Kirkland says the new town hall location aligns with their vision for a more accessible and community centric center.

The parking space available will also serve as an asset particularity during events hosting at the nearby Bluewater Park.
