South West Hospitals to Maintain Masking Requirement Indefinitely

Group of Hospitals say they want to ensure that the safety measures in place allow for the contiuance of services and programs.

Hospitals across the Southwest have updated their ongoing protections against Covid-19 and confirmed that current masking requirements for all individuals entering their facilities will continue indefinitely.

Karl Ellis, Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance President and CEO says that as a group of hospitals they want to ensure that the safety measures in place allow for the contiuance of services and programs. He adds that while they acknoledge the varying opinions, they must prioritize the safety of those they serve.

Supporing this announcement are the Alexandra Hospital, Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Grey Bruce Health Services, Hanover & District Hospital, Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, St. Joseph’s Health Care London, St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, South Bruce Grey Health Centre, South Huron Hospital Association, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Woodstock General Hospital.
