Huron Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson has presented Southampton Foodland with a Foodland Ontario Silver Award.
Given to Linda Mellor and the team the award recognizes building creative produce displays which drive sales of local Ontario produce.
Thompson says local grocery stores such as Southampton Foodland plays a pivotal role in providing access to Ontario grown and produced food.
For more than 35 years the annual Foodland Ontario Retailer Awards which has recognized the creative talent of retail managers and staff.
