Children in the Southampton area are about to get an improved children’s area at their Bruce County Library Branch and it’s thanks to a generous donation.
The $5,000 was donated in memory of Betty McCulloch by her family that Library Director Brooke McLean said in her October 10th press release is in hopes that it will carry Betty’s legacy of learning and literacy forward, significantly enhancing the children’s area to be enjoyed for years to come.
Betty was a loved and respected teacher and educator in Bruce County who became the first woman to hold the position of principal.
