There’s still spots available for Saugeen First Nation youth looking to attend a leadership conference at Blue Mountain next month.
Residents aged 18-29 can apply to attend the Independent First Nations 8th Annual Youth Conference that runs from Feb. 5 to 10.
The conference will give attendees knowledge about health, wellness and Indigenous empowerment, as well as racism training.
Application forms must be submitted by Jan. 25 and include a brief essay about the important of mental health and youth empowerment. All applicants who submit by Jan. 18 will be entered into an early bird draw.
