Spruce the Bruce Program enhanced with Community Stream Grants

$125,000 in Funding available for grants including Facade Building Improvement, Fascia Signage, Perpendicular Signage, Awning, Patio Installation, Community Marketing and More.

Bruce County announced today that  the Bruce County Planning & Development Committee has endorsed enhancements to the Spruce the Bruce Program at their March meeting.

The $125,000 in Community Stream funding is available to support local downtown businesses and communities.

Applications are now open for eligible businesses and property owners, municipality and community partners to apply for funding supports.

The grants available include:

  • Façade Building Improvement
  • Fascia Signage
  • Perpendicular Signage
  • Awning
  • Patio Installation
  • Community Marketing
  • Streetscape Beautification
  • Community Signage
  • Destination Infrastructure and Active Transportation.

Funding is available on a first-come, first serve basis. Bruce County will fund 50% of the total project cost before taxes up to a set maximum per grant.

Projects must be completed by November 30th, 2022.
