The Spruce the Bruce program is back, offering over $125,000 in funding to businesses and community partners.
Now into its 17th year, the program marks its return February 2nd all municipalities in Bruce County are eligible to create a vision for future growth and development through the provision of tools and grants.
There are 13 grant categories available for applicants within eligible Community Improvement Project Areas supporting projects such as improvements to local downtown commercial property storefronts, infrastructure on agricultural land and removing barriers to accessibility on commercial properties.
Bruce County’s Economic Development Manager, Heather Hyde says this diverse program also supports our agricultural and tourism sectors while addressing local economic challenges faced today.
